About Bennaco

Since the company was established in 1999, Bennaco has provided writing and editing services to businesses throughout Canada, primarily serving Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC. The company also serves a limited number of US clients.

Our mission is simple: provide effective written communications that help clients to reach their business and/or personal goals. Our "core product" is clean, simple communications that get the point across without resorting to hype. We've worked with individuals, non-profits, government-mandated agencies, and businesses of every size.

Bennaco has been a member of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce since 2007 and a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce since 2000.

Company principal Benna Michaels is a former engineer with over 15 years' experience in technical and business writing. She's also a former IT Columnist for the Edmonton Commerce News, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce's monthly newsmagazine.

Bennaco is proudly involved in community activities. Each October, Northmount School invites us to participate in its annual Read-In Week, during which adults from the community bring in their favourite stories to read to the children.

We also donate webmaster services to Rotary's annual Rider's Choice Road Rally, a motorcycle rally that emphasizes "The Odometer, not the Speedometer" and "Smarts, not Speed". Each year, rally proceeds are donated to charity; this years' beneficiary was the Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad (CAMTA). CAMTA members travel overseas each year to provide people in underprivileged countries with corrective hip and clubfoot surgery.
