Search Engine Optimization Samples

Note: many of our other web projects have also involved search engine optimization. Below are two detailed case studies.



Project: rewrite an existing website with an emphasis on improving search rankings for 50 terms related to metallurgical engineering and metals quality testing.

This ambitious rewrite involved keeping only existing shell of the site design, while entirely reoganizing the layout and content. Working from initial suggestions by the client, Bennaco did keyword popularity research and helped the client to refine an initial list of over a hundred possible key phrases down to fifty core terms. The site was them optimized for those terms.

Results have been gratifying. In a six-month period, traffic to the website has doubled. The contact form is being used to submit requests, and information is being requested about the career opportunities on the career page.

The website has gone from being virtually invisible in searches to being in the top 3 pages of search results generated by most of the major search engines, for all 50 target keyphrases. As the site works through Google's so-called "aging delay", across-the-board ranking results are expected to further improve. Below is a public domain ranking report for one of the key terms.

This Edmonton area Professional Organizer wanted a website that would reflect her down-to-earth personality and approach—and, more importantly, expose her new business to potential customers. After refining the target keywords, Bennaco designed and optimized a site.
